Mama Ngina Visits Retired President Moi Amid Fears that Gideon Moi will Join NASA and Uhuru is Headed to Defeat

Mama Ngina today flew on a private charter to meet with Moi at Kabarak !!!!

The unusual visit has been prompted by a confidential NSI report projecting a first round loss for Uhuru in August.

The public booing and humiliation suffered by both President Uhuru (in Mombasa) and DP Ruto (in Rift Valley and Nyanza) has only added fuel to a raging fire.

Mama Ngina made the unscheduled visit to Kabarak to urge him to persuade his son Baringo Senator Gideon Moi not to join the increasingly popular opposition super alliance NASA.

So alarmed by the threat posed by NASA are the power-brokers that informed sources say Mama Ngina is prepared to throw DP Ruto under the bus to ensure the two dominant families avoid the transformative Raila – presidency at all costs.

The panic was underlined in Uhuru’s first ever radio interview yesterday on Kameme FM, where he poured vitriol on Opposition and blamed Raila for everything that has gone wrong with Jubilee administration.

To make it worse, recent democratic regime change events in Africa, especially in Ghana and Gambia has not given any comfort to the Kenyattas and the NSI report only rubbed salt into an already open wound.

Key business personalities with significant stakes at the NSE have withdrawn their support for the fast crumbling Uhuruto regime after they suffered losses running to billions of shillings.

The NSE was ranked the worst performing stock market in the world as stock prices fell a record low in 2017.

People are questioning the wisdom of approaching the elderly and ailing Moi with complex political problems since the ex-President is reportedly exhibiting signs of dementia and who now has a permanent medical team standing by at his Kabarak home.

What I Learnt from President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jamhuri Day Speech – A Must Read

President Uhuru Kenyatta during Jamhuri day celebrations at Nyayo Stadium

In his Jamhuri Day speech, President Uhuru Kenyatta started well, by calling for unity amongst all Kenyans, in accordance with the vision of our forefathers, who fought for our independence. However, he lost me at the point where he turned the event into a Jubilee campaign platform and went ahead to cheat Kenyans that all our primary schools have been connected to electricity and supplied with tablets. White lie! Never mind that children were promised laptops not tablets.

He was also out of order to repeat the fallacious assertion that the ICC is a western powers tool aimed at manipulating African countries. His clear hatred for the ICC is purely hypocritical at a time when his next-door counterparts have been slaughtering their own people with utter impunity. Case in point; South Sudan, Uganda and Burundi. Yet there is always no African solution in sight, as the AU sits like a toothless bulldog.

His allegations that money is being poured into the country from foreign powers in order to destabilize his struggling gov't is pure propaganda aimed at soliciting sympathy from the public.

Finally, the president absolutely has no right to dismiss the opposition as "yale makundi mengine yanaeneza ukora." he must agree that the opposition has done its work of exposing the rot in his gov't and his fragile regime is likely to be swept out of power next year.

Only a highly disorganized opposition will fail to beat an incorrigibly corrupt gov't like that of Jubilee. The possibility of being the first one-term president in the history of this country is real and it must be giving president Kenyatta sleepless nights.

CORD takes Garissa Town by Storm, Raila Welcomed like a KING - See PHOTOS

CORD in Garissa Town [picture taken today]

Well, it has been a gloomy-cold Saturday, but seemingly people in Garissa Town were beaming with joy after Opposition Leader Raila Odinga visited the North Eastern Town in a move seen by critics as a way to appease Somalis to back him up in fight for Electoral reforms.

Garissa town is home to Jubilee’s mouthpiece and Majority Leader Aden Duale. Raila’s move to tour Duale’s region will definitely be a thorny issue to the Jubilee government given that the government had toured the region a fortnight ago and they didn’t receive the warm welcome Baba did.

Anyway, I have managed to get a couple of photos [courtesy of @CODIDA / Twitter] showing Garissa people in attendance during CORD’s Garissa rally.
